Wendell B. Farris, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of B.C. and an alumnus of UNB, sends a gift of money to the university for library books. James Dunn's scholarship funds are discussed and his paintings which Lord Beaverbrook would like for the university. Lord Beaverbrook discusses his intention to buy the library of Howard Robinson upon his death in 1950. There is correspondence with L.W. Flett of Newcastle regarding Ford motor cars which were always placed at his disposal while in Canada. Henry Ford II thanks Lord Beaverbrook for entertaining him while in Fredericton. Ali Baba thanks Lord Beaverbrook for hospitality and dinner during an Atlantic crossing on the Queen Elizabeth ship.
